Short, but strong weekend!!!
30 Jun 2009 – After a short break of two weeks it was time for the 49th Reinoldus-Langstreckenrennen. The team had worked hard after the gathered information of the last event and made changes on both the technical and aero dynamical side of the car. During practice these changes definitely showed improvement and the 120crew knew it was going to be a good weekend. Especially in fights with other cars and in traffic the changes would be a major step forwards. The weekend started with constantly changing weather, there was heavy rain and beautiful sunshine. On Friday the MSpeed team had a wet Eiffel track to work with. They were able to put down many laps, but it never came to a clean lap, because of the conditions. As Nick was running the last few laps it started to rain when he was half way down the track and he had to run the remaining part on slicks. A lot of cars though didn’t slow down enough and crashed. There were cars everywhere and it meant for a lot of mechanics a long Friday night!
